Who are the casts?
The same talented actors are back to bring the same captivating characters to life as their story remains far from over. These stars include:
• Song Hye-kyo as Dong-eun • Lim Ji-yeon as Yeon-jin • Kim Hieora as Sa-ra • Jung Sung-il as Do-yeong • Cha Joo-young as Hye-jeong • Lee Do-hyun as Ju Yeo-jeong • Park Sung-hoon as Jeon Jae-jun
If we’re to see the absence of Kang Hyeon-nam, played by Yeom Hye-ran, fans are ready to stage a revolt. This transformation from domestic abuse victim to cunning detective is a fan-favorite and must be preserved at all costs. They want to see her sit at the dinner table and enjoy a warm meal with her daughter once again.
Although Myeong-oh, the rough-and-tough dealer played by Kim Gun-woo, is no longer among the living, that doesn’t mean he won’t make an appearance in flashbacks. The mystery of who took his life still remains unsolved.
What about the plot?
Dong-eun’s mission is set to unfold, with a few obstacles and contemplations on the cost of retribution along the way. Through an intricate web of flashbacks, we’re aware of Dong-eun’s ultimate goal – to make her tormentors pay for their cruelty. She wants them to endure the same agony she suffered and death is too easy for them.
Myeong-oh was the first to fall into Dong-eun’s trap. She manipulated him into betraying his arrogant boss, Jae-jun, stealing DNA samples to prove that he’s the father of Yeon-jin’s daughter and not her husband, Do-young. However, Myeong-oh’s death was not caused by Dong-eun, and we’ll have to wait until the end to find out who the culprit is.
Next in line is Hye-jeong, who agreed to work for Dong-eun to avoid her wrath. But will she be left unscathed? We doubt it. Dong-eun is not known for her mercy, even though Hye-jeong was also a victim of Yeon-jin’s cruelty.
The final showdown is yet to come, as the two worst bullies, Yeon-jin and Jae-jun, will feel the full force of Dong-eun’s vengeance. Her weapon of choice? Ye-sol, their daughter, who is surprisingly kind and sweet, considering her parents’ sadistic nature. Ye-sol is the perfect tool to turn against them.
