After more than a decade on Netflix, the beloved horror-fantasy series Supernatural is officially leaving the platform — but fans won’t have to wait long to stream it elsewhere.
Netflix confirmed that all 15 seasons of Supernatural will be removed on December 18, 2025, marking the end of its long streaming run since first joining the service in 2014. The last day to watch will be December 17, alongside other departing CW series including Arrow and The 100.
Where ‘Supernatural’ Is Heading Next
Fans can breathe easy knowing that the Winchester brothers’ demon-hunting adventures have already secured new streaming homes.
Beginning December 1, Supernatural will join Prime Video, giving subscribers full access to all 327 episodes. Then, on December 22, the series will also debut on Peacock, where all 15 seasons will stream in their entirety.
It’s not yet confirmed whether Supernatural will be available on Peacock’s ad-supported plan or restricted to its premium tier.

A Legendary Run for a Cult Classic
Starring Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, Supernatural ran from 2005 to 2020 across The WB and The CW, spanning an impressive 15 seasons and earning its place as one of television’s longest-running genre shows.
The series follows brothers Sam and Dean Winchester as they travel across America battling monsters, ghosts, and demons while uncovering a deeply emotional family saga. The show’s success also led to several spinoffs, including The Winchesters in 2022.
Produced by Warner Bros. Television, Supernatural is available in both English and Spanish (Latin America) audio and subtitles.
Why the Change Now?
The removal follows the gradual expiration of Netflix’s long-term streaming deal with The CW, which began winding down in 2019. While Warner Bros. owns Supernatural, the studio opted to license the series to multiple platforms rather than its own Max service, broadening its reach ahead of the 20th anniversary of the show’s premiere in 2025.
With the move, Supernatural joins other CW favorites like Smallville and Gossip Girl that have migrated to new streaming homes under Warner Bros.’ refreshed licensing strategy.
