The Butcher Baker: Mind of a Monster’ premieres on Wednesday, September 2 on ID

Arrow Media’s feature-length documentary The Butcher Baker: Mind of a Monster has premiered on ID channel on Wednesday 2 September. All the pieces of the puzzle have been put together by joining all the dots which includes the testimony of his friends, victims, and the officers involved now the truth has come out about Robert Hansen, The Butcher Baker: Mind of a Monster. He was a man who assumed to have everything. Being a well-behaved family man, he ran a profitable and blooming bakery and his friends admired him for his world-record hunting trophies, but underneath this carefully propagated exterior laid a cold-blooded serial killer.

the reason behind choosing this case

On 30 August begins The Butcher Baker: Mind of a Monster is part of Investigation Discovery’s Serial Killer week. Henry Schleiff, Group President of Investigation Discovery says “The fascination behind serial killers continues to be unmatched, with our viewers consistently asking for more,” he further adds “We chose these cases not just because of these macabre monsters, or that each investigation is a self-contained mystery, but because each story will leave our viewers gripped to the screen until the final scene when justice is ultimately served.”

The Heinous Crimes of Mastermind

“Serial killer week “ is all about the audiences who can watch each night and tune into the original program that takes a closer look at some of the most notorious and presumably forgotten murderers from over the years. Hansen was impeached in 1984 after admitting to killing mainly dancers and prostitutes during a 12-year span. He was convicted of just four of the murders in a deal that spared him having to go to trial 17 times. At that, the notorious baker also confessed to raping another 30 women.

The End of a Notorious Serial Killer

At the time of his death in 2014, Hansen was serving a 461-year sentence, he had been imprisoned at the Sward State Prison and was moved that year to the Anchorage Correctional Center to undergo medical attention because his health declined.
