Things do change when the time calls. Such things are going to be changed as for the very first time the University of Southern Mississippi and the University of South Alabama are going to have a face-off with each other in the football field. Thanks to the Coronavirus pandemic, the game which was originally planned to be played on Saturday, is now being shifted to two days prior on Thursday. Many eyes are waiting for the match to begin eagerly. The match will be organized at M.M. Roberts Stadium at 8 p.m.
The USA-USM inaugural football meeting has now become the opening Football Bowl Subdivision game of the 2020 season. The game will be broadcasted on national television by CBS Network.
USM coach Jay Hopson states-“It’s been an interesting spring and summer, and I’m just excited to get the season started.”I think people across the country want to watch some college football, so we will do our best to put a good product out on the field,”
Precautions to be followed by all
Players along with the associated members are all advised to follow the rules and regulations to curb the chances of a pandemic being spread to anyone by any chance. As already many games that were organized in the past have witnessed the severity of the virus and many of the players have also been found positive. Keeping the dangers amid the organizers have decided only 25 percent of the seats will be kept open for occupation.
Amid, the pandemic everything was stopped but slowly things are returning back to normal from economies to sports and daily life, every aspect of life is gaining practices to continue in the new world order amid COVID Crises.
