PUBG, Tencent Games no longer be the publishing partner in India




PUBG, one of the most popular royale game around the world, PUBG got banned from India. The government of India banned PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds due to the Indochina conflict. India and China are not in good terms, so the Indian government is taking an initiative to ban all China-based products and apps. Earlier the government banned 117 other Chinese apps for national security.

PUBG banned

PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is played by 33 million active users in India, with 50 million downloads. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds revenue in India was more than many other highly distributed apps like Netflix and tinder, PUBG was far more top than all these apps. Indian youth is mad about PUBG, but the government of India banned it. PUBG was distributed by Tencent games which is China-based, so to protect national security it got banned. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is has been deleted from android as well as apple play store, it is no longer available now.

This has forced PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds cooperation, which is a South Korean based gaming company, to withdraw its association with the Tencent games. To this, PUBG cooperation is taking steps to no longer authorize the PUBG MOBILE franchise to Tencent Games in India. They are working on publishing all responsibilities within the country. They have respected this decision of the Indian government to secure data privacy and security of Indian users.

PUBG cooperation is working with the Indian government to live a PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds ban. PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was originally developed by South Korea’s PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds cooperation, but its mobile version was launched by China Tencent games. They are working on this issue so that PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds became available to Indian players back.

In light of recent developments,” PUBG Corporation has made the decision to no longer authorize the PUBG Mobile franchise to Tencent Games in India,” the company said in a statement.

When PUBG got banned in India, Indian youth got mad and opposed the government decisions. But the Indian government had to take steps to protect its data and national security, this was taken for the welfare of the citizens plus the country. India and China are not in good terms, so the government banned many known apps like TikTok, shein, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Made in India is a new concept of the government and Indian citizens should understand the Government step. Several Indian apps have already replaced china based apps, and many are in development. Soon India will be a self-reliance country.
