The followers of Fortnite Battle are really excited to know about the release date of the Ranked Fortnite feature. In this article, you will know about when ranks are going to be released. However, before starting the journey of achieving ranks, let’s learn more about them.
What Will be the Ranks In Ranked Fortnite Battle?
Ranked Fortnite introduced a total of 8 ranks. The ranks will range from Bronze to Unreal. They also include Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, Elite, and Champion. While Elite, Champion, and Unreal will only have one rank, Bronze through Diamond will have three levels.
Climb the Bronze ranks to achieve Silver, and then the Silver ranks to attain Gold. To get Elite, repeat this in Gold, Platinum, and Diamond.
Once you have reached Elite, you must prove your mettle against other very good players in order to move on to Champion and eventually Unreal.
When The Fortnite Be Released?
With the 24.40 updates, Fortnite Ranked Play debuted on May 16 and offers players a competitive experience unlike anything else in the game.
Can We Expect Some Kind Of Season System in Ranked Fortnite Battle?
Ranked Season Zero will begin with the release of Ranked in v24.40. Until the conclusion of Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season 3, there is Season Zero.
During this period, the team of Fortnite Battle is working on new features and general enhancements in preparation for when ranked begins, which will happen in accordance with the regular Battle Royale Season schedule.
Do You Know What Will Your Starting Ranks In Season Zero?
Your performance in prior matches, as well as your performance in your first Ranked Battle Royale and Ranked Zero Build match, will determine your beginning Battle Royale rank and Zero Build rank in Season Zero.
You simply need to participate in one Ranked match in Battle Royale or Zero Build, and your rank revealed.
How Can You Reach Unreal Rank As Far?
You’ll remain in Unreal for that Ranked Season once you reach there. This implies that regardless of how well you perform going forward, you won’t return to the previous ranks of the Season.
Now, a question may strike your mind, Does it mean that once you reach Unreal, your game is over? Nope! You’ll receive a number when you first log in to Unreal.
It represents where you rank among all other players worldwide. Continue to perform well in ranked games to increase your ranking and become one of the top players in the world!
The Unreal leaderboard, which will be up on fortnite.com/ranked/leaderboard, will show you where you are in Battle Royale and/or Zero Build. You may keep up with the competition by checking out this scoreboard, which will change frequently and show competitors’ and display names as well as Unreal positions.
Furthermore, players can choose not to have their stats shown on the leaderboard By following the given setting:
“Public Game Stats” off in the “Gameplay Privacy” section of Fortnite’s in-game Account and Privacy settings.
Let’s See How Does Ranking Up Works In Fortnite Ranked?
In the Lobby, if “Ranked” is set to “On,” your rank will be displayed on the left side of the screen. Additionally, a progress bar will show you how close you are to reaching the next rank or going back to the previous one.
The progress bar’s rise or fall will rely on the following elements:
- Your place in the match
- how many defeats you or your team suffered during the game.
- Eliminations later in the match will count more than eliminations earlier in the match.
- The players you or your squad eliminated will be given consideration based on their rankings.
Teams will be handled as a single entity, with each team member gaining or losing progress according to team eliminations and team placement determined at the end of a match.
Your team’s rank will be determined by the highest-ranked player on the team. For example, if a team is made up of Gold I and Silver I players, they’ll matchmake as a Gold I team and play against similarly ranked teams.
Which Modes Will Support Ranked?
With version 24.40, Battle Royale and Zero Build modes will be supported by Ranked:
Battle Royale: Solo, Duos, Squads
Zero Build: Duos
You’ll have separate ranks for both Battle Royale and Zero Build.
Ranked Matchmaking: How Does It Work?
- Solo Play: You will be matched with opponents who have the same rank as you or a similar rank.
- Duos Or Squads Play: A “party rank” will be assigned to your team if you’re playing in Duos or Squads. Your party rank will be equal to the teammate with the highest rank. Teams from the same or a similar party rank will be matched up against your squad.
You’ll keep your individual rank even though you have a party rank. Your team’s and your own performance in the Duos/Squads match will determine how far your rank progress bar moves.
Are Ranked Matches And Non-Ranked Matches Going To Have Different Gameplays?
You will compete against other players who have enabled Ranked when you turn it on. As we continue to monitor the Ranked player experience, you can anticipate that all the loot and other gameplay elements that are enabled in regular Battle Royale and Zero Build will also be enabled in Ranked Season Zero.
Will Ranked Match Players Receive In-Game Rewards?
Fortnite will be offered a Ranked Urgent Quest when you exit the Battle Bus during a ranked match. Ranked Urgent Quests must be completed in order to unlock seasonal cosmetic prizes.
How Can Competition Affect By Ranking?
In v24.40, Arena will be eliminated in favor of Ranked. Except for the Console Champions Cup, none of the remaining competitions for Battle Royale Chapter 4 Season 2 will need rank requirements for participation.
Players will need to reach Platinum I rank or higher in Ranked Battle Royale to be eligible to compete in the Console Champions Cup on May 23.
Your rank will be one of the considerations for future Battle Royale Seasons when determining your eligibility for tournaments run by Epic.
This includes competitions for in-game items like Icon Series Cups and competitions for monetary awards like FNCS events. The specific rank requirements for a particular tournament will be detailed in that tournament’s official regulations.
