Obsession: The Trailer

The narrative of Brenda Tune’s Jennifer, a love interest who suffers a violent assault at a rest stop, is followed in the main trailer for Netflix’s “Hidden Obsession.” Jennifer only seems to be unable to recall who she is or anything about her background. Her husband Russell (played by Mike Vogel) wakes her up in the morning, but soon it becomes clear that not everything is as it seems.

In the end, Russell isn’t who he claims to be, and the two of them have a rocky past. What we find confusing is that Netflix has effectively summarised the entire plot in the trailer; there is hardly any attempt at nuance, and we are unsure of how we feel about spine-chilling movies like that.
