Many people enjoy watching ENGI because of Leon Fou Bartfort, the eccentric but fascinating gangster. Like other Isekai, Stuck In A Dating Sim features an unusual premise. Although it may not seem so at first glance, this story is actually rather captivating.
Made in 2017, the show is based on a light novel by Yomu Mishima with the same name. As the web series was well received, Micro Magazine and Jun Shiosato decided to adapt it into a manga.
By the end of the web series, there were about 176 episodes total, long enough to be adapted into an anime. From April 3, 2022, to June 19, 2022, the show ran on ENGI, which is also home to such popular shows as “Uzaki-chan Wants to Hang Out” and “The Detective is Already Dead.”
There was plenty of room for a second season of Stuck in a Dating Sim, even if the show ended after around 12 episodes. The show combines elements of a few different genres, including slapstick comedy and science fiction. The story also features a Harem and Reverse Harem dynamic.
Trapped In A Dating Sim Season 2 Release Date
ENGI has not provided a release date for the second season, however they did announce its production on December 26, 2022. Those responsible for its creation were Shin’ichi Fukumoto and Kazuya Miura. Tokyo MX, AT-X, Crunchyroll, and ytv are just some of the broadcasters that will be airing the show. If the announcement was made in April, the premiere date would be in May of 2023.

Trapped In A Dating Sim Season 2 Plot
Volume 3 will mark the beginning of Season 2 of the anime. Reports suggest that the upcoming season will focus on Leon’s (presumably continued) ascent in the social ranks. But as he rises in status, other aristocrats begin to worry about him. His political opponents are attempting to lock him up totally and then abandon the key. His political opponents’ strategies are exactly what the Principality of Fanoss has been hoping for.
Since the Holfort Kingdom’s most potent military leader is currently imprisoned and unable to stop the onslaught, the Principality has also announced its intention to launch an offensive. Leon is the one who has to figure out how to break free and decide whether or not his country is worth fighting for. Many viewers are looking forward to the new season so that they may catch up on the show and enjoy the bonuses that will be available.

The first episode of season one follows a typical white-collar worker as he indulges in an otome game for his sister. She begs him to help her, and despite his reservations, he complies. From the moment he fires up the game, he despises the protagonist and the story, which is what we in the industry call a “reverse harem” since it demonstrates that the women in this world are the ones in command.
He completes the game and earns every trophy. When he stands up, he falls on his head. When he comes to, Leon Fou Bartfort is a little boy.
His stepmother is a snooty, overbearing woman who treats his father like trash, and his father is a penniless baron. When Leon initially arrives, he has no idea where he is, but once he takes in his surroundings, he realises he is still in the game. As he finishes an otome game, he feels as if he’s been reincarnated into its world.
After being bullied by his stepmother for a decade, Leon finally finds the strength to stand up to her. Using his prior knowledge and experience, he acquires the artificial intelligence ship/robot Luxion. Then, Leon visits The Academy, a school for males where they might meet potential wives.
When Leon arrives at the Academy, he encounters the game’s romantic interests, but they are guarding someone other than the game’s protagonist, Olivia. The game continues with the same plot, but Olivia has been replaced by a new female named Marie. Leon longs to join the underworld and become a part of its society. When something happens, he always seems to be smack in the thick of it.
