On the first episode of Angela Black, we met Joanne, whose husband had begun abusing her. Ed locates her in the park after the incident and tells her he can represent her in the divorce case her husband has filed for her. Then, all of a sudden, Yuki vanishes, and Angela sets out to prove that Olivier is a jerk who needs to go to jail.
Angela tries to kill Olivier but fails and is caught. Through the course of the story and the play as a whole, we learn about Edgewater’s past and Angela’s mental breakdown as a result of her abuse. In the end, Angela works alongside Theo to outsmart Olivier at his own game and gain freedom for herself and her kid.
A wealthy family was the primary focus of the first season. Unfortunately, the viewers only see a portion of the truth. Angela’s husband, Olivier, has a history of physically abusing her. In addition, Olivier employs a hitman named Theo Walter to complicate matters for Angela. The assassin encounters Angela while posing as Ed, and he tries to get her to spy on her husband so that she can be framed as an interloper in his romantic life.
Old enemies of Theo’s make his life miserable once Angela successfully has Olivier arrested. A new antagonist could make an appearance in the next season. It’s possible that her husband or wife may be granted parole.
