Puss in Boots: The Last Wish, Who is the Voice Cast, Characters and Release Date?

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish is an American computer-animated adventure film set to be released in 2022. The film is a sequel to the computer-animated film Puss in Boots, which was released in 2011. Both films are spin-offs of the Shrek franchise. The film is produced by DreamWorks Animation and distributed by Universal Pictures.

Antonio Banderas provides the voice for the title character, Puss in Boots. The film was directed by Joel Crawford and co-directed by Januel Mercado. It was adapted from a script written by Paul Fisher and Tommy Swerdlow, which was in turn based on a tale written by Swerdlow and the writer of the previous film, Tom Wheeler.

Voicing their characters include also Salma Hayek, Harvey Guillén, Florence Pugh, Olivia Colman, Ray Winstone, Samson Kayo, John Mulaney, Wagner Moura, Anthony Mendez, and Da’Vine Joy Randolph. The voice cast also includes Da’Vine Joy Randolph.

With the assistance of his friends (Hayek and Guillén), Puss in Boots (Banderas) continues his journey as he seeks to locate the mythical Last Wish and restore the eight of his nine lives that he lost while evading new adversaries (Pugh, Mulaney, and Moura) who plan to hunt him down.

The film follows Puss in Boots as he continues his quest to find the Last Wish and restore his lost lives.

Puss in Boots: The Last Wish Plotline

When the Big Bad Wolf (Wagner Moura), who seems to be supernatural, follows Puss in Boots, he is afraid of death for the first time in his life. Puss gives up and goes to live with Mama Luna (Da’Vine Joy Randolph), an old woman who takes in a lot of stray cats.
