Both Joshua Jackson, who played Dr. Christopher Duntsch, and Alec Baldwin, who played Dr. Robert Henderson, were excellent choices for the lead parts in the television series. One of the following actors could play Dr. Randall Kirby: Christian Slater, Grace Gummer, or AnnaSophia Robb, who would play Michelle Shughart.
