Saweetie is the stage name of American rapper Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper, also known simply by his given name. After the release of her first single, “Icy Grl,” in 2018, she was signed to the record company Artistry Worldwide, which is a part of Warner Records. Her then-manager Max Gousse was the one who got her the deal.
2018 marked the release of Saweetie’s first extended play, titled High Maintenance. Her second extended play, titled Icy, was out in March of 2019, and it gave rise to the top 40 single “My Type.” Her first studio album, titled Pretty Bitch Music, is slated for release in 2022.

Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper was born in Hayward, California, on July 2nd, 1993. His full name is Diamonté Quiava Valentin Harper. She went to high school in Tracy at Merrill F. West High School and then graduated from Monterey Trail High School in Elk Grove. She spent her entire childhood in the Central Valley.
When she was 13 years old, she started writing songs and music. Following her graduation from high school, she enrolled at San Diego State University and majored in communications as well as business. After that, she made the decision to change schools and enrolled at the University of Southern California. There, she was able to finish her education and earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications.
