C-Murder is the stage name of American rapper and songwriter Corey Miller (born March 9, 1971). He became well-known in the middle of the 1990s as a performer on his brother Master P’s No Limit Records label, mostly as a part of the group TRU.

Miller collaborated with the label on a number of solo albums, including 1998’s platinum-certified Life or Death. C-Murder released nine albums on six different record labels, including Venti Uno, No Limit Records, TRU Records, Koch Records, Asylum Records, and RBC Records.

On August 14, 2009, Miller, who had been detained in 2002 for the murder of 16-year-old Steve Thomas, received a life sentence. At the moment, Miller is incarcerated at the Louisiana State Penitentiary. In 2018, two key witnesses who testified against Miller later withdrew their testimony, claiming that they had been coerced into doing so by authorities. Miller insists on his innocence, and he, his brothers, and his nephew have all repeatedly called for a new trial.

Miller has consistently continued to work, despite the numerous efforts made by his attorneys to have his conviction overturned.

What Happened in C Murders?

Corey Miller, also known as C-Murder, was controversially found guilty of the charges brought against him. A juror has now acknowledged that she was forced by the government to render a guilty verdict against her judgment, despite the fact that several witnesses may have been accused of lying to the jury while they were on hold.

In 2018, a witness also revised his testimony. Murders with C-convictions have always been upheld. The 49-year-old is currently incarcerated at the Elayn Hunt Correctional Center, where, if he is unable to establish his innocence, as he continues to insist, he will likely spend the rest of his natural life.

While in prison, he continues to write music; his next single, “Don’t Wanna Trap No More,” will be released in January 2021. It is also crucial to keep in mind that Kim Kardashian has long argued in favor of the C-release of Murders, citing the dearth of forensic evidence against him.

When two witnesses from the shooting night declined to testify in 2018, new motives emerged. Kenneth Jordan, the first witness, claimed that police convinced him to name C-Murder as the offender. In his statement, Kenneth said, “I know that the person I saw firing the gun was not Corey Miller.” Security guard Darnell Jordan claimed that C-Murder was identified as the perpetrator by police after being “tricked” into making the statement.

He claimed that until he agreed to testify against the rapper in 2003, he had been detained and held as a drug witness. In spite of what Corey Miller claimed in a statement, I am certain that Steve Thomas was not shot.

Kardashian West revealed that she will work with REFORM Alliance members Jessica Jackson and Erin Haney as well as singer Monica, who was dating Miller at the time of his arrest. The goal of this group is to “dramatically reduce the number of individuals who are unnecessarily subjected to the criminal justice system.”
