See Taylor Swift Recreate Iconic Outfits From Different Decades in This Ad for Capital One!

After announcing her upcoming Eras Tour, she released this throwback advertisement.

Taylor, in her former incarnation, is currently filming a commercial for Capitol One and therefore cannot answer the phone at this time. Taylor Swift starred as a dozen different versions of herself in a commercial for the bank holding company’s Venture X credit card that was released late on Monday (November 1). The commercial spans the years 2006 through 2022 and features Swift in her most iconic looks from each of her album cycles.

During the 1989 World Tour in 2015, Taylor wore a number of sequined outfits, and one of these is seen being worn as she tries out a pair of headphones in this scene. She dances to a rhythm only she can hear and exclaims, “They’re noise canceling!”

To which the other Taylor retorts, “You’re being too loud,” alluding to a line in “You Need to Calm Down,” a song from Swift’s 2019 album Lover.

Swift’s 2011 Speak Now Tour lookbook features a second Taylor, this time in a purple dress and ponytail, as she watches a Capitol One customer use his phone to reserve seat 13A on Flight 1989.

A resounding “Good choice!” comes from Speak’s mouth. Taylor, revealing the painted number 13 on her palm. “Fourteen is my lucky number.”

There’s a Taylor in the elevator wearing the unitard outfit from the “Look What You Made Me Do” music video, another Taylor in one of her iconic Folklore cardigans, and yet another Taylor with the curly hairstyle from the debut cycle of her self-titled album.
