Our goal is not only to provide high-quality translations but also to create an environment where readers can discuss and feedback on each other’s work. This way, we hope to foster a community of comic enthusiasts that will help push the genre forward.

Thank you for choosing us as your source for comic scanslation!

What are Comic Scanlations?

Comic scanlations are translations of manga and comics originally released in Japan into another language. They’re usually done by fans who want to read the comics in their native language but can’t find them in stores or online.

ReaperScans is a crowdfunding site that helps fund comic scanlations. We crowdsource money from our readers to pay for the translations and then donate the remaining funds to charity. We’ve been doing this since 2014 and have funded over 60 translations!

Scanlation is a great way to get your favorite manga and comics without having to buy them. It’s also a great way to support your favorite artists and publishers. If you’re interested in helping out with comic scanlation projects, check out ReaperScans!

What are the Benefits of Comic Scanlations?

The benefits of comic scanlations are numerous. First and foremost, they provide an outlet for comics that may not otherwise find a home. Fans can access these strips regardless of budget, and often times the quality is higher since the creators are not bound by time constraints. Additionally, scanlations offer aspiring creators the opportunity to get their work out there and receive feedback from fans. Finally, scanlations give readers a chance to sample different series before investing in a whole volume or subscribing to a monthly subscription service.

How to Submit Your Comic for Scanlation

If you’re an artist who wants to submit your comic for potential scanlation, there are a few things you need to keep in mind. First and foremost, make sure the comic meets the quality standards we set for our site. If it doesn’t, your submission may not be accepted.

Second, make sure the file is in the correct format. We accept CBR and PDF files only at this time. Finally, please provide any relevant information about the comic, such as the series name, character names, and episode titles.
