“Kamala Harris Car Accident”: How is It That We Are Just Now Learning About Vice President Kamala Harris’s Car Accident?

Have you heard that your company’s vice president was involved in a minor collision on Monday morning, but no one said anything about it?

According to USA Today, Vice President Kamala Harris’s automobile was involved in a small accident while it was traveling to the White House at the beginning of this week. The mishap occurred on the way to the White House. No one was wounded, and the Secret Service moved her to another vehicle as fast as possible so that the voyage could continue as planned.

Does that not sound boring at all? Almost all, with the exception of the part where information that may or may not have been entirely factual, started leaking out about the cause of the crash, requiring the administration to clarify the situation.

It appears that Veep’s automobile hit a curb, but she is unharmed in any way. Nothing to see, move along. But, as CNN points out, the Secret Service itself hasn’t exactly been a model citizen as of late, and the public confusion over what caused the collision of a car that held the first Black vice president isn’t exactly inspiring trust, so this doesn’t exactly inspire confidence.

Services Confidential Doesn’t Know How to Drive and is Trying to Pull Off a Cover-up

The number of days that have passed since the last incidence of concern within the Secret Service has been reset to zero. According to the Washington Post, the vehicle that was transporting Vice President Kamala Harris to work on Monday was involved in a “one-car accident on a closed roadway” when the driver “struck the curb of a downtown tunnel hard enough that the vehicle’s tyre needed to be replaced.” The accident occurred when the driver “struck the curb of a downtown tunnel hard enough that the vehicle’s tyre needed to be replaced.”

Although there were no reports of injuries to the vice president, who was a passenger in the SUV that was involved in the collision, she had to be transferred to another vehicle. On Monday evening, a video of the accident was discovered on TikTok:

According to The Post, “The routine nature of the travel and the high level of training required for agents who drive the president and vice president led many in the Secret Service, as well as Harris, to question how such an accident could happen.” Harris was also one of the people who questioned how such an accident could happen.

Surprisingly, though, the driver’s inability to steer clear of a curb on a clear stretch of road with no other vehicles in the vicinity is not the primary cause for alarm in this scenario. It appears that the Secret Service attempted to cover up what had taken place, as they initially cited “technical failure” as the reason for transferring Harris but made no mention of an accident taking place.

Later on, Kim Cheatle, who was just appointed to the position of director of the Secret Service, learned from other agents that the alarm was false. Reportedly, a variety of other agents and Harris herself were aware of what had actually transpired. A source from the Secret Service told the Post that Cheatle had “confessed to allies that she was troubled by the inaccuracy of the notice relating to the Harris accident.”

Anthony Guglielmi, a spokesperson for the Secret Service, issued a statement in which he explained that one of the vehicles in the motorcade “had a small overcorrection and struck a curb.” He went on to explain that agents eventually filled in their supervisors in person with the full specifics of the incident, despite the fact that the initial written report did not express all of the details of the occurrence.

Surprisingly, the fact that the driver is unable to avoid colliding with a curb while driving on an empty length of road with no other vehicles in the immediate area is not the primary reason to be concerned in this case. It would appear that the Secret Service sought to cover up what had happened, as they first cited “technical failure” as the reason for transferring Harris but made no mention of an accident taking place. However, it is clear that an accident did take place.

After some time had passed, Kim Cheatle, who had recently been assigned to the job of director of the Secret Service, found out through other agents that the alert had been false. According to the reports, a number of additional agents in addition to Harris herself were aware of what had actually taken place.

A spokeswoman for the Secret Service named Anthony Guglielmi released a statement in which he explained that one of the vehicles in the motorcade “had a little overcorrection and contacted a curb.” Guglielmi’s explanation was included in the statement.
