This once again positions the program in the middle of Law & Order Thursdays, in between Law & Order: Organized Crime and the first Law & Order.

The renowned crime drama will continue to be produced by the network for at least one more season, as per their commitment. According to NBCUniversal, the parent company of NBC, which made the announcement in April 2022, super producer Dick Wolf has a deal to remain on the web for a least five more years beyond what has already been revealed.

NBC announced in the same release that “SVU” would be returning for a total of three more seasons after it received a renewal. Since the show was in the middle of its 21st season when this news was made, the upcoming Season 24 will be the final set of episodes to be included in this statement.
