On the same day that it was published, a manga adaptation was created and published in English for the first time. An anime television series of Black Bullet was produced years after the manga adaptation and premiered on April 8, 2014, to rapturous fanfare. Even though the first season aired seven years ago, fans never stopped yearning for a sequel to appear on their screens.

Because they enjoyed the first season of Black Bullet so much, they’re holding out hope for a second season of their favorite manga and light novel. Is there anything we can do to see whether it’s not pointless to wish for a second installment to happen? So far, this is all we have to go on.

Release Date

After a long wait of six years, we finally received confirmation from Kinema/Citrus Studio that the second season of Black Bullet will be produced and will be made available to the public in July of 2020. However, as you may have seen, July of 2020 is well behind us, and we are still waiting for season 2 to premiere.

There has been no indication as of yet that the second season of Black Bullet will be joining the extensive list of anime programs that have been postponed because of the epidemic. There is yet room for optimism regarding the arrival of the new season very shortly.

Cast list

The creators had kept the cast a secret up until this point, but the characters were presented well in the first season. Since the serialization of parts seems to be done adequately, we may anticipate that the returning cast members from season 1 will appear in season 2, but if a sequel is commissioned, we may also be introduced to brand new characters. A few of the protagonists from the first season who we will almost surely see again are

On the other hand, the cast could be different in anime with an English dub. We will keep you updated as soon as the list is available.

Plotline

The events of the anime series take place in a not-too-distant future in which humanity is struggling to recover after an outbreak of a virus called Gastrea. As a consequence of this, the majority of people are left with no other choice but to take refuge within the Monolith walls. These walls are the only obstacle or barrier that can stop Gastrea, which is composed of geranium. But, sadly, even after being protected by the walls, people fail to escape the epidemic.

This is because children born with a genome of the Gasteria virus gain supernatural abilities, which is why people called them ‘Cursed Children.’ As a result of these abilities, people called them “Cursed Children.” Strangely, the virus only manifests itself in children who are female.

The government has come to the conclusion that the only way to save the people and destroy Gastrea is to combine the children who have been cursed and given the name Initiators with children who have been given the name Promoters and who are obligated to follow the Initiators.

The teams that are created are known as Civil Securities, and they can fight off Gastrea. Enju Aihara is an Initiator, and Satomi Rentaro is a Promoter, and both of them are on a quest to save their hometown of Tokyo and the entire world from the virus Gastrea. The story follows their exploits as they attempt to accomplish these goals.

Trailer

The producers have not given any indication that they would proceed with Season 2 as of yet. There has not been an official trailer released as of yet because the season’s overall quality is under question. When the teaser finally arrives, you can count on us to spread the word.
