Tom gets into a battle with a man who tries to pick up Summer in a pub one night, resulting in their first fight. Summer pays a visit to Tom later, and the two reconcile. At the wedding, they have a nice time, dance together, and Summer catches the bouquet. She invites Tom to a party at her flat, and on the way back, she falls asleep on his shoulder. He goes to the party in the hopes of rekindling their romance, but he barely speaks to Summer and spends the majority of the night drinking alone, until he notices her engagement ring.
