The Japanese anime series Life Lesson with Uramichi Oniisan is a darkly comedic drama. Gaku Kuze is the author and illustrator of the manga that serves as the basis for this anime. Since May 2017, Ichijisha’s Comic POOL digital manga magazine has been serialising this manga for online reading. Six tankobon volumes contain the manga chapters. In North America, Kodansha USA has licenced this series of manga comics.

A 2021 anime adaptation was produced by Studio Blanc and aired on television between July and September of that year.

A total of six volumes were released by Ichijinsha on May 12, 2017. The first season of the Anima television series began airing on July 6, 2021 and concluded on September 28, 2021. The first season of this Anime had a total of 13 episodes. Nobuyoshi Nagayama is the director and Touko Machida is the author of the anime.

Everyone’s big brother Uramichi always seems to have a moral side to his lessons in life, from smoking and exercising to nihilistic outbursts. In spite of his worn-out, jaded demeanour, he struggles to maintain a positive outlook on the show.

When Can We Expect Season 2 of Uramichi Oniisan’s Life Lessons?

Season 2 of Uramichi and the gang has been highly anticipated by the show’s loyal following after a highly successful first season. As of September 28, 2021, the production studio had no further plans for season 2, but after watching the positive reaction to season 1 and the overall positive reviews, they’ve decided to extend the season. Oniisan’s manga series, ‘Life Lesson with his Oniisan,’ is being adapted into a six-volume anime. For the first season, Touko Machida used three volumes, but there are still a lot of stories to be told.

Producer Studio Blanc has confirmed they are ready to make season 2 after receiving numerous requests for it. Production on season 2 has already begun. Studio Blanc, the show’s producer, says the studio has big plans for the show. We estimate that the show will be available on Netflix in early 2023, as the show is still in production.

The studio has decided and confirmed that the show will be renewed, and we’ll be able to see Uramichi Oniisan’s witty, yet unconventional, ideas once again very soon.


An ex-gymnastic who appeared in a children’s show with his mother is a 31-year-old former gymnast with a happy smile, but he suffers from mental instability. Uramichi Omota In spite of his best efforts, he can’t help but show his worn-out and jaded personality on the show.

In a children’s television show called Together with Mama, Tomikichi Usahara plays the mascot rabbit “Usao,” a 28-year-old man. Both of them are students at the same university.

Uramichi’s college junior, Matsuo works as a bear named “Kumao” in Together with Mama.

Daga, Iketeru: Iketeru is a vocalist and actor who has appeared in a variety of musicals. Even though he’s handsome, he can’t tell time on an analogue watch and enjoys dirty jokes.

A 32-year-old music school graduate who, like Mama’s “singing Onee-san,” alternates between working as an idol singer and an enka singer in order to make ends meet.


Uramichi Oniisan‘s first season finale showed Tobikichi dreaming about its farewell party. Amon later met Uramichi in the hopes of gaining inspiration from the latter. However, the latter was unable to help him in any way. Amon, on the other hand, continued to follow around despite this. The first season ended with his feeling proud of the positive impact he had on his friends’ lives.

Now, the second season of Life Lessons with Uramichi Oniisan is likely to focus on  the feud with Masami-chan. They’ll learn about new technologies like social media. It’s also possible that it will find love in the second season and deal with the highs and lows of a relationship in the process.

Spoilers for Uramichi Oniisan’s Life Lessons, Season 2

While sleeping, Tobikichi has a vision of Uramichi’s farewell party from Season 1. A prophetic dream worries him when he wakes up unexpectedly. Later, Amon meets the protagonist because he needs his help coming up with new and innovative ideas.

On the other hand, is unwilling to lend a hand to his artistic endeavours because he feels he cannot support him. While Amon is put off by this, he continues to pursue his goal of vengeance. Unknown to anyone, a studio student vanishes the following day.

“Together with Maman” cast and crew discover that he has been wandering around the studio and isn’t far from his original location when they begin searching for him. Miramichi appears to be satisfied with himself for making a difference in people’s lives and for having friends with whom he can place his trust as the episode concludes.

During season 2, the protagonist’s feud with Masami-chan may be briefly highlighted. Even Uramichi and his friends will be baffled by the absurdity of what they discover in the social networking realm.

Long-distance relationships can be difficult, but the protagonist may find love and have to deal with the ups and downs of it. Unfortunately, he will spend the rest of his winter vacation alone and bored. Miramichi will also visit Tokyo for the first time and be astounded by the way people live there.
