For fans, Halloween was a pleasant surprise, and for producers, it was a successful endeavor.
As a result, Universal and Blumhouse have decided to bankroll not one, but two sequels. Peacock Films’ Halloween Kills, which premiered on October 15, was a commercial success. After Kills finished on a cliffhanger, we won’t know what happened to Laurie Strode and Michael Myers in Haddonfield, Illinois until 2016.
When Is ‘Halloween Ends’ Coming Out?
When Halloween Ends is released in theatres on October 14th, 2022, Halloween 2022 will come to an end. The threequel was supposed to come out on October 15, 2021, but due to the success of Halloween Kills, it had to be postponed a year. It appears to be the only film premiering on that date for the time being, but with a year to go, that is bound to change.
The film will now be released in theatres on July 19, a week after Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse and a week before Ticket to Paradise. None of those films will pose a real threat to the slasher, as they all cater to different audiences.

What Happens at the End of ‘Halloween’?
Green just revealed a few previously unreleased story details for Halloween Ends. This film takes place four years after the events of Halloween Kills, which occurred just seconds after the events of the previous film.
After four years since the events of the previous Halloween film, filmmaker David Gordon Green will address current events such as the COVID-19 Pandemic and “peculiar politics,” as he put it in an interview with Uproxx.
The premise of mixing social and real-world issues isn’t entirely outlandish, especially in light of the last two films in the series.
Laurie Strode’s granddaughter Allyson’s “considerations and psychology,” rather than her main part, will drive the next film. She’s lost her father, boyfriend, and mother in the previous two flicks.
Who Is in the Halloween Ends Cast?
Laurie Strode will be played by Jamie Lee Curtis, and Allyson will be played by Andi Matichak in the next film. Robert Longstreet’s Lonnie, as well as Judy Greer’s Karen, Anthony Michael Hall’s Tommy Doyle, and Dylan Arnold’s Cameron appeared in the latter two films.
Deputy Frank Hawkins, played by Will Patton, Sheriff Barker, played by Omar Dorsey, and Lindsey Wallace, played by Kyle Richards, could all return. It’ll be interesting to see who the newcomers are.
Is ‘Halloween Ends’ Getting a Sequel?
Not one that involves this particular team, at the very least. Carpenter’s three films are all part of a bigger four-film story, with the 1978 original serving as the opening piece. Green thinks that if Michael Myers and Laurie are reincarnated, Hollywood will give them some time off.
Director David Gordon Green is poised to be busy for the next few years, with a sequel trilogy to The Exorcist featuring Academy Award contender Leslie Odom Jr. and Ellen Burstyn reprising her renowned role as Chris MacNeil.
Green will also direct the first episode of HBO’s upcoming Hellraiser series, which has yet to be named. With Halloween co-writer McBride, he co-directed many episodes of The Righteous Gemstones, including the pilot. Green has agreed to star in a Disney+ feature film about Disneyland’s beginnings. Long after the publication of Halloween Ends, and possibly even before, there will be plenty of material to keep Green’s cinema fans satisfied.
Is a trailer for ‘Halloween Ends’ available?
Because the sequel has yet to be made, there is no trailer for Halloween Ends. Last year, we only got a sneak peek at Halloween Kills because production had already begun.
As with the last two Halloween films, the first trailer for Halloween Ends will not be available until the summer of next year. Even though the official trailer has yet to be released, this page will be updated as soon as it is.
