Variant of this amazing car ‘BMW 5’ has been launched in the Indian market today on July 01, 2021 and the newly launched sedan has got a power bump and cosmetic upgrades inside and out. This German luxury car ‘BMW M5’ will be available as a completely built-up unit (CBU) and can be booked exclusively on the company’s official website and it has come with one variant – BMW M5 Competition.
BMW M5 Competition Launched In India, Know Other Details Of The Car
This newly launched BMW M5 Competition at a price range of INR 1.6 crores (expected) has got a 4.4 litre twin-turbo V8 petrol engine which produces power of 625HP and torque of 750Nm. The car is capable of going 0-100 kms within 3.3 seconds making it the perfect sports car. The engine of this Sedan is paired with an 8-speed automatic gearbox that channels power to all four wheels.

With the new BMW M5 Competition, we are strengthening our coveted performance portfolio in India.’ He further added that, ‘The upcoming model of the car is designed and engineered to deliver the best performance and signature attributes of the BMW M brand.’
The new car has been introduced with new Laserlight headlamps with L-shaped DRLs, and revised tail-lamps. The car has been given a new infotainment system, with this system getting the larger 12.3-inches touchscreen with the latest iDrive system and supporting Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
Coming to the equipments of the car, so it has got adaptive dampers, M drive modes including a track mode, Laserlight headlamps, ambient lighting, the aforementioned touchscreen with smartphone connectivity, gesture control and voice assistant, powered and heated front sports seats, four-zone climate control, wireless phone charging, hands-free parking, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon surround sound system.
It has also got a 360-degree camera, sunroof, soft-close doors, carbon-ceramic brakes, ventilated front seats, front seats with massage function, and rear-seat entertainment.
