Mahindra is planning to launch nine new models by the year 2026. First ones in the list are going to be XUV700 and this model will replace XUV500, and this will be followed by next-generation Scorpio. It is expected that both the models will launch by the end of the year 2021. The models have underwent testing phase and some of the glimpses from the interior of these upcoming models have revealed a user interface system with new infotainment system.
Mahindra To Launch XUV700 With New Infotainment System
Though the current touchscreen infotainment system which is in XUV300 looks quite updated but the new infotainment system that will be witnessed in the upcoming models promise a welcome change in terms of interface aesthetics. This new infotainment system will have a new interface with connected car technology with wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
As the new interior spy shots show that the car will have touchscreen system along with it, the model will also have digital instrument cluster and this digital instrument cluster seems to be a part of dual-screen setup and is expected to provide with multiple user interface.
The car is expected to have a panoramic sunroof, LED headlamps, dual-zone climate control. For the safety of the passengers and driver, the model is expected to introduce a tyre pressure monitoring system, electronic stability programme (ESP) multiple airbags, and 360 degree camera.
It may also have a driver assistant like autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane keep assist and will come in two variants – 2.0 ltrs turbo petrol and 2.0 ltrs turbo diesel but in a higher state of tune. Transmission options for these upcoming models of Mahindra may include 6 speed manual and automatic unit.
Though the models have went through their testing phase, but still there are no updates on the model specifications from the makers. The models are expected to be launched soon and we are expecting that atleast by the end of this year, we will get a release date for both the models.
