Audi e-Tron is soon to be welcomed in the Indian Luxury automobile Market. The model is performing really well in the foreign market with the Germans selling 17,641 units in the first half of 2020. With its futuristic look, this luxury car is winning hearts of millions in the market. Though it has already been launched in the foreign market, in India we are expecting that it will be launched on July 16, 2021.
In its interior, it has physical switches and controls, same as those used in the new-age ultra luxury automobile SUVs. It also comes with a multi-function steering wheel, a panoramic sunroof, four-zone climate control, and ambient lighting. This electric SUV is powered by a 71.2 kWh battery pack and can accelerate to 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds with maximum speed up to 190 kmph. The company has also claimed that in a single charge, this electric SUV can go up to between 282 kms and 340 kms rest depending on parameters such as passengers, topography, and driving habits, all those which are important for any electric car.
If we talk about the price, so this model of Audi ‘e-tron’ may range from INR 1 Crore to INR 1.2 Crore (expected). In India, it is the first attempt of Audi at a fully-electric SUV.

E-Tron is powered by two electric motors – one sitting on each axle. Both the electric motors have a combined output of 360 horsepower and 561 Nm (in standard mode), that can push the electric car from 0 – 100 kmph in 6.8 seconds. But in sports mode, in gives a combined output of 396.5 horsepower and 664 Nm. The car is expected to take about 10 hours for charging if charged with a 9.6 kW charger whereas it will charge up to 80% in 30 minutes if charged with a 150 kW fast charger.
The upcoming model has a very elegant look that will definitely attract buyers.
