Censorship has always caught everyone’s attention right from the beginning. It received a great furor during Pahlaj Nihlani’s tenure. Although it ended in 2017, the debate remains. This debate has received further fuel with Salman Khan’s upcoming movie, Radhe: Your most Wanted Bhai. In the past year, only a few films have been released and this only means less scope for the CBFC to axe dialogues and scenes from movies.
As per the latest reports, the much-awaited Eid release, Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai has opted for 21 voluntary cuts. And modifications after getting the censor certificate.
Salman Khan on the cuts
The lead actor is reported to have said that the film is a family entertainer that is set to have a digital release. He feels most of the people will watch the movie with their family and therefore, it was better to have some scenes deleted that could make the audience uneasy. Some action scenes that seemed to be violent have also been removed.

According to other reports, a five-second shot of the city was added to the end of the film.

Reportedly, the phrase “Swachch Mumbai” has been changed to “Swachch Bharat”. Moreover, a dialogue having the phrase “Jai Maharashtra” has been removed. This has been done to not stir any controversy
Run time of Salman Khan’s Radhe: Your Most Wanted Bhai
Before the modifications, the run time of the movie was 117 minutes and 55 seconds, but now it stands at 114 minutes and 24 seconds. Hence, 3 minutes and 31 seconds have been removed from the film.

It is a Hindi language action film with Prabhu Deva directing it. The producers of this movie are Salman Khan, Sohail Khan, and Atul Agnihotri. The Outlaws, the Korean film is the original film and Radhe is its remake. Jackie Shroff, Disha Patani, and Randeep Hooda also star in this movie. The film is to release simultaneously in theatres as well as through the digital platform Zee5 on 13th May 2021.
