Sushant Singh Rajput was an Indian actor. He started his carrier as a background dancer. Later he got a chance to act in a Zee TV daily soap “Pavitra Rishta” opposite Ankita Lokhande. He made his acting debut in Kai Po Che (2013). The film was based on Chetan Bhagat’s novel ‘The 3 mistakes of my life. Since then Sushant has been loved massively by the audience. His popularity skyrocketed after he played M.S Dhoni in his biopic MS Dhoni: The Untold Story (2016).
He also did some well-acclaimed movies. Some of them got huge business on Boxoffice while some failed to make such an impact.
Everything thing was fine with Sushant and everyone knew him as a cheerful and self-motivated personality. But fate had something else for him. On the noon of 14th June, 2020 TV channels got flooded with news of Sushant’s death and his fans couldn’t believe the fact that he is gone.
Later it was revealed that he died by hanging himself and was claimed as a suicidal death.
It’s hard to believe that an actor who was such an inspiration and ambitious could take such a step. Soon after few reports claimed that Sushant’s death is not a suicidal death but a well-planned murder. After a few investigations, it was revealed that Sushant was drugged by his girlfriend Riya Chakroborty. This news spread like a wildfire and new names were added every day.
The public and some bureaucrats pleaded with the supreme court for a CBI investigation. The investigation led to fee more revelations. But could be concluded due to lack of proper evidence and follow-ups.

SSR’s charm had already garnered a huge fan following and his demise was felt like a shock to the Indian cinema viewers. Soon after people started backlashing the film industry for being unfair to young outsiders like him. Many popular names popped up from the industry but nothing was concluded as the allegations were not proof based just emotion-based. Though a large drug circuit got exposed by CBI’s further investigation.

Sushant’s case started losing leads and nothing concluded. But the investigation led to some facts and exposed the evils prevailing in the Indian Film Industry.
14th April 2021 marks the 10 months of SSR’s demise and his fans still demand a full-proof inquiry. His fans came again on Twitter and started flooding feeds and SSR Justice Is Basic Right started trending on Twitter. Currently, it is trending on number 14 on Twitter’s India trending list. The tweet suggests justice should be granted to the late actor and is claimed to be a basic right of every individual.
