Jofra Archer absence, here’s what Sangakara has to say

Former Srilankan cricket star, Kumar Sangakkara has been appointed as the Director of Cricket for Rajasthan Royals for this season. Sangara has agreed to the condition of Jofra Archer. And made it clear that his absence is gonna affect the team’s gameplay as a whole.

Kumar Sangakkara also clarified that to deal with Jofra’s absence and cover the loss they need to train the bowlers of the team. As fast bowling is not a cup of tea for every player.

Stating his idea of fast bowling he said – “Fast bowling in IPL is not an easy task and we saw that yesterday (DC vs CSK) as well. Most of the wickets are good for batting. So you have to be quite skillful. We have Kartik Tyagi, who did pretty well last season in patches, and this year we have new additions Kuldip Yadav and Chetan Sakariya.”(https://cricketaddictor.com/cricket-news/ipl-2021-jofra-archers-absence-big-blow-for-rajasthan-royals-we-need-to-train-young-pacers-kartik-tyagi-and-chetan-sakariya-says-kumar-sangakkara/)

Adding up further he claimed – “It’s about keeping them focussed on what their job is and get them trained and prepared to execute different deliveries, scenarios and match plans for the opposition but at the same time, giving them confidence about their own strength”.(https://cricketaddictor.com/cricket-news/ipl-2021-jofra-archers-absence-big-blow-for-rajasthan-royals-we-need-to-train-young-pacers-kartik-tyagi-and-chetan-sakariya-says-kumar-sangakkara/)
