Chris Lynn turns 31, Here’s what you need to know

The previous day former Royal Challengers Bangalore player Shreenath Arvind celebrated his 37th Birth Anniversary and today Australian player Chris Lynn celebrates his 31st birth anniversary.

Chris Lynn: Biography

Chris was born on 10th April 1980 in Brisbane, Australia. In domestic cricket, he represents Queensland, a state in Australia. He is a right-handed batsman known for his humongous sixes and boundaries. He attended and completed his high school education at  St Joseph’s Nudgee College and then was admitted to the Queensland Academy of Sport to pursue his career in cricket. Lynn scales 5ft 11 inches. His decently tall height gives him the agility to swing his waist across the corner and hit the ball with ease.

Chris Lynn made his debut in cricket by playing for his domestic team, representing Queensland. He then joined Brisbane Heat in 2011. Brisbane Heat is a professional Twenty20 franchise cricket team that competes in the Big Bash League. He also made a debut in the Indian Premier League and teaming up with Deccan Chargers. However, the team presently does has got dismantled and has no sign of returning to the IPL. He made a debut in Sri Lanka Premier League with The Kandurata Warriors in the year 2012. In the year 2014, he was welcomed back by the Indian Premier League and played for Kolkata Knight Riders.

The journey of Chris Lynn in the Indian Premier League circuit has been quite a roller coaster. He was shifting from one team to another. Presently, in the year 2021, he has backed up with Mumbai Indians. Apart from the Indian Premier League Lynn has also a player in other premier leagues like Caribbean Premier League and Pakistan Premier League. As like IPL, Lynn has been a part of three Caribbean Premier League teams namely

Jamaica Tallawahs, Guyana Amazon Warriors, and Trinbago Knight Riders.

Chris Lynn is famous for his long sixes and boundaries. His game playing style makes it clear that Lynn has a massive strong hind muscle and a very amazing posture making him hit long boundaries. The Gabba is a major sports stadium that is famous for its public holding capacity. The reason why The Gabba has been brought into the context is that Chris Lynn hit a ball with such vigor that it ended up landing on the roofs of The Gabba. Chris Lynn received his limelight when he created a record by bashing a massive run of 91 out of 30 balls while he represented Maratha Arabians against Abu Dhabi in the T10 league.
