According to sources Devdutt had been tested positive on March 22nd.To keep the other team members and crew safe he has been kept under isolation.
Declaring the devastation news Royal Challengers Twitted from its official Twitter handle regarding the same “Official Statement: Devdutt Padikkal tested positive for COVID-19 on 22nd March 2021. He has been in mandatory quarantine at his residence in Bengaluru since then. Replacement of Devdutt Padikkal
To compensate Devdutt RCB needs to bring someone worth him who can open for the team. The decision is not easy. As the Indian Premier League starts on the 9th of April.
