RCB OPENER TESTS COVID POSITIVE
The recent news being RCB star Devdutt Padikkal has been tested corona positive. Fans can’t stop praying for his speedy recovery. Padikkal counts to be the third cricketer to counter Covid 19 with Axar Patel, Delhi Capitals’ allrounder. Kolkata Knight Riders player Nitish Rana being the other two Covid struck cricketers. As per a report by the Times of India Devdutt is currently under quarantine.
Though situations are under control and Devdutt Padikkal has been isolated from the rest of the team members to keep others in a safe condition. It can be seen as a loss to Royal Challengers Banglore as the Indian Premier League is coming up with the first match starting from 9th April, between Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers.

BIOGRAPHY AND CARRIER
Devdutt is 20 years old, Kerala born, and is a left-handed batsman. He is also a right-arm off-break bowler. He came to the limelight in the year 2019 and was taken by Royal Challengers Bangalore. Devdutt is also the opener, has a ton of achievements and amazing stats to look at. He is a throb who has not only registered himself as a star ILP player but also has proved his mettle in under 19 format.
Pandikkal moved from Hyderabad to Banglore to pursue a better prospect in cricket and got selected in Karnataka Institute of Cricket. He marked his cricket debut in 2014 Under 16 format followed by Under 19. He was later taken by Bellary Tuskers in the Karnataka premier league in 2017.
As mentioned earlier he was selected as the opening batsman by Royal Challengers Banglore. RCB recognized the young talent and bought him in the player auctions in December 2018. Pandikkal didn’t disappoint the team expectations and became the first player in IPL history to score three fifties in his first four matches.
In the recent IPL i.e. the 2020 season Pandikkal won the Emerging Player Award, playing for Roya Challengers Banglore.
Now talking about the young cricket star’s stats: Devdutt has played 15 IPL matches and scored a total of 473 runs so far. The average score is 31.53, the left-hander has a strike rate of 124.8 and his highest score in a match so far counts to be 74. He has also hit 5 -the 50’s,51- 4’s, and 8- 6’s in his 2-year-old IPL carrier.
