Hardik Pandya lost his father on Saturday due to Cardiac Arrest

Amidst the test series between India and Australia, a heartbreaking news has made the headlines. The star All rounder Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya lost his father on Saturday. Himanshu Pandya, father of Pandya Brothers passed away due to a sudden cardiac arrest on Saturday. He was 71 years old. Hardik and Krunal Pandya performed last rituals. As soon as the news of this tragic loss surfaced in the Media, condolences started to pour in from fans and cricket fraternity.

Both Brothers performed last rituals of the father

Hardik reached Vadodra for the last rites of his father with his wife Natasa Stankovic. The all-rounder broke down upon seeing the mortal remains of his father. Krunal, on the other hand, left the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy’s bio-bubble to return home. Krunal was the leading the Baroda Team in Syed Mushtak Ali Trophy where his team was at the top of the points table. His brother, on the other hand, returned to India after being a part of the team India in the T20 and ODI series against Australia in their home conditions. Pandya was adjudged men of the series for his terrific batting performance which helped India secure 2-1 win in the T20 international. Due to injury, Hardik was not included in the longest format against Australia. Hardik penned down an emotional note on the Twitter. He tweeted “My daddy As I said to your yesterday Your last one ride.  Now rest in peace my king You were a Happy soul! I will miss you everyday dad Love you always”

Hardik and Krunal Pandya broke down on seeing mortals of their father. While performing the last rituals, they couldn’t contain themselves. The funeral was conducted at the Wadi wadi crematorium in Vadodra. It is indeed a tragic loss for the two brothers. Hardik and his wife Natasha were recently blessed with a baby boy. Several bollywood celebrities and cricketers offered condolence to the family.
