The Hollywood star Johnny Depp will be no longer play the roll Gellert Grindelwald in Warner Bros “Fantastic Beasts” franchise after he lost his libel case against a UK newspaper. Depp had sued News Group Newspapers that publisher of The Sun and the newspaper’s executive editor, Dan Wootton at London High Court over an April 2018 article that called him as a wife beater accusing him of assaulting his ex wife Amber Heard.

After a contentious of this summer trial that made the global headlines for this week the Judge Andrew Nicol on Monday dismissed the suit by saying that what are the paper published was “substantially true”. In a statement posted on Instagram on Friday, the 57 year old actor said that he was asked by Warner Bros to leave the franchise and he has been accepted that the request. As secondly he is wishes to let you know that he have been asked to resign by Warner Bros from my role as Grindelwald in Fantastic Beasts and I have been respected and agreed that to request Depp wrote.

The actor is known for blockbuster hits like “Pirates of the Caribbean” series, “Alice in Wonderland” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory” his first play was in Grindelwald in 2016’s as Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them. Fantastic Beasts releasing date
Warner Bros confirmed Depp is a departure and announced his role will be recast before the third installment opens in theatres reported Entertainment Weekly. Depp will depart on the ’Fantastic Beasts’ franchise. He thanked Johnny for his work on the films to date. ‘Fantastic Beasts 3’ is currently in production, and the role of Gellert Grindelwald will be recast by some other person.
