Tyron Woodley and Colby Covington face off on September 19. They face each other in a main event Welterweight clash. This is from inside UFC APEX in Las Vegas, Nevada. Although it’s been among the year’s last-second main events. The two rivals nearly clashed for the undisputed title. But the injuries keep them apart. Finally, they both got a chance to settle the bad blood. This is a significant career implication for both of them. Unfortunately, there was nothing competitive about this event. Covington pressed Woodley into the fence. This is for the majority of five rounds. He landed hard kicks all the time. Even he sneaked a lot of elbows in the process. Thus Colby Covington defeats Tyron Woodley via TKO at 1:19 of the fifth round. This is when Woodley suffered a rib injury.

Whereas Mayra Bueno Silva defeats Mara Romero Borella by submission at 2:29. Jessica Rose Clark defeats Sarah Alpar via TKO at 4:21. Darrik Minner defeats T.J. Laramie by submission at 0:52. Randy Coasta defeats Journey Newson. Andre Ewell defeats Irwin Rivera. Tyson Nam defeats Jerome Rivera.


However, Colby is back in the win column after he fell short to Kamaru Usman. This happened in their epic last war. He had fallen extremely far from grace. Later Woodley pressed forward to cope up with the things. But Covington blasted a takedown into full guard. And Woodley even worked back to his feet. This happened without absorbing much of damage to him. Later Covington again pulls a pressure behind his strikes. Colby worked for the takedown. But he fought through a standing guillotine. However, it was Covington only who was cranking out the volume. Although in the fourth round Colby marched from behind. And once again a takedown happened. Later in the fifth round, Woodley suffered and injury. This has left him in pain.
