Firstly, The Third Day is created by Felix Barrett and Dennis Kelly. The plot revolves around the island of Osea. The first three episodes titled “Summer” stars Jude Law and Katherine Waterson. Lastly, the final three episodes titled ” Winter ” will feature Naomie Harris in a new but likewise story.

The viewers get to see a country road from an aerial view. Further, a car is visible on the screen. Finally, we hear a man frantically talking on the phone. He’s having a conversation regarding a burglary. Sam ( Jude Law) is the man on the phone. The story moves forward and the other characters make an appearance consecutively.

The thoughts while watching it

However ‘ The Third Day’ comes up with a fascinating format. Moreover, the gist of it reminds us of shows like ‘ The Woods’. Well, we all are quite familiar with the plot of ‘The Woods’. Where the main character has a mysterious link to a particular location. But even the character is unknown to the link. Eventually ‘ The Third Day’ may remind you of the famous show.

A look at the performances

Both Law and Waterson have performed exceptionally well. The chemistry between Waterson and Considine as the weirdly gruff and cheering Martins is quite interesting. Also, it becomes successful in keeping the audience engrossed. The amazing performances add a lot more to the story. Definitely, the brilliant work by the actors will be appreciated by all.

Stream it or Skip it?

Well to answer the question, one should definitely stream it. The major twists and turns provide engaging content. The performances on The Third Day save it. Also, the screenplay needs to be appreciated. However, the confusing premise adds a lot of burden on the show. If you want to watch a good show you can definitely opt for this one on HBO.
