Reportedly, the new book of the famous author J K Rowling Rowling has given rise to big dissension. The epic writer has come up with her new novel named “Troubled Blood”. However, this piece of art has been reviewed as ‘transphobic’. Also, it lacks originality to a greater extent. Due to this, Rowling is facing a lot of backlash on Twitter.

Joanne Rowling, famously known by her pen name J. K. Rowling is a British author. Moreover, she is also a screenwriter, producer, and philanthropist. The single mother has written the popular Harry Potter series. These novels gained immense popularity and have fans from every age group. This gigantic fame helped Rowling in becoming the first billionaire author of the world.

Previous Controversy

J. K. Rowling has repeatedly been called for making anti-trans comments. Earlier in the month of June, her views on sexuality had triggered a storm. Her opinions made a clear indication of her transphobic mindset. The controversy over Rowling’s stance on trans rights is far from over. A few months back the author made a series of tweets that were massively controversial. Also, a lot of criticism was faced by Rowling regarding the same.

The Disputed Series Of Tweets

The creator of the Harry Potter universe tweeted that, “‘People who menstruate.’ I’m sure they’re used to be a word for those people. Someone help me out. Wumben? Wimpund? Woomud? Opinion: Creating a more equal post-COVID-19 world for people who menstruate”.

This tweet garnered a lot of backlashes. But Rowling didn’t stop here. She relentlessly made a series of tweets in which the transphobic thinking is quite evident.

A Novel With An Anti-Trans Plot

J. K. Rowling has come up with her new novel named “Troubled Blood”. The Telegraph reviewed the book which got published on Sunday. According to a review in The Telegraph, the plot centers on the disappearance of a woman. Who is thought to have been a victim of Dennis Creed, a transvestite serial killer? The novel has been alleged to be “transphobic” and lacks originality simultaneously.

A Massive Outbreak and Twitter Trends

Again, Rowling has triggered the emotions of the LGBTQ community who are constantly fighting for their rights and identity. The previous tweets of the author forced Harry Potter stars to express their disagreement. Now with this book, which portrays transgender people as villains has given rise to a massive outbreak. Furthermore, this led #RIPJKRowling to trend on Twitter. As it’s quite visible that the author is killing her own career with this stereotypical thinking.
