Sofia Kenin conquers Ons Jabeur

Sofia Kenin conquers Ons Jabeur at US Open for the first time on Saturday night. In the fourth round No.2 seed Sofia Kenin. She had to weather a barrage of 35 winners coming from Tunisia’s racquet. Although she stayed still to break Jabeur’s serve three times. She even fires 13 winners on her own, fighting way to a 7-6(4), 6-3 victory. The match was played in New York City. It was a rematch of the pair of Australian Open quarterfinal. This was the second time that Kenin had defeated the Tunisian en route to a title after recording a victory over Jabeur.

However, she was valued up 42 by the end of the year. She was even named the WTA’s most improved player. She had earned more hardcourt victories than any other player on the Tour. His victories are around 38. Now since 2016, Kenin became the first woman to win two majors in a year since 2016.
