Has taken plans into consideration to potentially cut power on Monday and Tuesday. According to PG&E, there could be seventeen countries that could be affected. These include Napa and Sonoma. Red public warning, PG&E Issues Power Shutoff
Though the Weather Services has issued a Fire Weather Watch. This will likely be upgraded to a Red Flag Warning bin in the coming days. The shift usually happens about 24 hours in advance. The situation remains still until and unless the meteorological conditions change. Since 2018 to reduce the chances of igniting a wildfire the utility has faced heightened public pressure. There is an observation that the looming power outages are different than the utility’s recent rolling electrical blackouts. This all happened when the demand overtakes the supply of electricity from the power plant. This generally happens in the case of air conditioners.
For the prevention of the locals in the area, the decision has to be taken by the PG&E. So they shut the power off in places where the risk is very high. Strong winds are very risky they could bring trees and tools onto the electrical and telephonic lines. Although there are various operations are running by the PG&E to minimize the risk. There might be underground lines in a few decades or so. In 2019 Kincade Fire, the 2018 Camp Fire, they are the most destructive wildfire are occurred by the equipment of PG&E.
