Rapper Silento, the famous “Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae)” Star, was charged on purported assault of 2 strangers with a Hatchet. The 22-year-old star, whose official name Richard Lamar Hawk, entered a stranger’s unlocked home in search of his girlfriend. The householders were at home with their children and were shuddered by the trespasser and he tried to bang 2 of them with a hatchet before he could be disarmed by anyone. The incident took place on August 29, 2020, in the Los Angeles Village Valley vicinity.
Actions are taken by the L.A Police Department
According to Los Angeles Police Department, the Rapper was arrested at around 1:50pm in the 12700 blocks of Alber Avenue. It was announced by the Los Angeles County District officer on Thursday, September 3, that the collared Rapper has been charged with two counts of assault of deadly weapon. The prison record says that Silento is currently at the Twin Towers Correctional Home on bonds of $105,000.
Silento Imposed Physical Injury to His Partner while out on bail
Silento was booked and later released a day earlier on the presumption of imposing physical injury to his partner in the 100 Blocks of Macarthur Avenue from where Saint Ana got a call of a domestic disturbance. As per Orange County Sheriff’s Department records, he was out on bail when the incident took place on Saturday. It is been pointed out by the authorities that the rapper Richard Lamar Hawk is also known as Silento on stage has been booked for charges on two separate occasions, domestic violence and attack within pernicious weapons, in as many days of the week in Orange County and Los Angeles.
Silento Could be Sentenced for Up to 6 Years of Imprisonment if convicted
Scheduled to appeal on Friday morning, 4th September, at the Van Nuys Courthouse, Silento, if convicted, on the charges of his recognizance and carrying out an assault while being out on bail along with the allegation of using a hatchet as a perilous and pernicious weapon, could meet with a potential sentence of 6 years imprisonment. It is not certain if Silento has hired an attorney of his own to speak on his behalf.
