The results went in favor of the Canadian player and a rough patch was witnessed by Andy who was defeated badly in the third round of the U.S open tennis championships. Felix wasn’t allowing Andy to open up and was building a metal cage around him with his finest shots. The match was a tough one and the Canadian player showed immense sincerity towards the match. Despite having a big lead at the scoreboard he didn’t feel overconfident, the player also admitted the same- “In the back of your mind, you know you are facing Andy Murray. You never know what tricks he’s got in his pocket”, said the player by showing respect towards the three-time Grand Slam Champion.

No valient comeback for Murray

Andy Murray has always exhibited the qualities of a great sportsman. The three-time Grand Slam champion has provided some wonderful sights to every tennis lover. However, the amazing player was beaten in the third round of the U.S open by the Canadian kid on Thursday night with a score of 6-2; 6-3, and 6-4 in the three rounds respectively. The 15th- seeded Auger dominated throughout the match. The thing that was strange and new was that Auger never faced so much as a single break point against Murray, who is known to be one of the greatest game returners. Surprisingly, Andy didn’t get proper room to open up and was constantly dominated by his opponent throughout the match that took place on Thursday night.

Murray gears up for a strong comeback.

While talking about the match, Andy said that  “I need to build up my body and my conditioning”. A 33-year-old player with a metal hip who two days earlier toiled for 4 hours and 39 minutes while building his tenth comeback, is facing a rough patch and was beaten by a young kid playing with all his strength. Well, a great player understands his strengths and weaknesses in the best ways possible. Andy knows that he needs to build his body in a stronger way and make a comeback and we all know that the great tennis player will be successful in doing the same.
