Baby Panda born at Smithsonian National Zoological Park

On Friday, a 22 years old female Panda gave birth to the Baby Panda in the Smithsonian Zoological Park. The park authority has given this news to the News channel. Smithsonian is one of the largest museums and zoos in the world. There are several archives in the museum which holds the artifacts from the various parts of the world. As a symbol of hope, there is a ray that the population of Panda can be increased. There is a hope for the people to save this species in the wildlife. Mei Xiang is the giant panda who gave birth to the baby.

How many Panda is there in the Smithsonian?

Many reserves made for Panda all around the world. Pandas are famous for their polite and friendly nature with human beings. Pandas are the natives of China provinces and are an endangered species and they are saved in many wildlife sanctuaries are made for them around the globe. There are many Panda’s in the Zoo and the number is increasing at a regular interval of time. Mei Xiang one of the female Panda was pregnant in month of March and since then she was in observation by a group of experts. The team performed the artificial insemination as the female are able to get pregnant for only 24 to 72 hours each year. For now, after this birth, there are 3 Pandas in Smithsonian Zoo for now the baby cub is in observation. And after seeing the effects of COVID 19 the experts are limiting the human contacts.

How Many Cubs Mei Xiang Have

Mei Xiang and Tian Tian are the two giant pandas who are living in Smithsonian Zoo. Earlier also Mei Xiang gave birth to three cubs and they are living a healthy life in China.
