The Real Deal reports that the owners of the Pacific Green Market at 151 Court Street have offered to match the reported $520K annual rent that J. Crew is ponying up to move into the space early next year. DNAinfo interviewed manager Billy Somaz who says, “We don’t want to leave.”
TRD: But Billy Somaz, who manages Pacific Green Gourmet Food, the current tenant, said he and his partners are fighting the takeover. However, Arista [the landlord] is not interested because it preferred to give the space to a national corporation, the website said.
