Bike thieves caught

The Brooklyn Paper reports that two men have been arrested for bike thefts that have taken place this month around Carroll Gardens and Cobble Hill.

Boerum Hill assistant principal named interim acting principal at PS 20

According to Insideschools.org, Lena Barbera, assistant principal at Boerum Hill’s PS 261, has been named interim acting principal at PS 20 in Fort Greene (in May, PS 20’s principal, Sean Keaton, was arrested for allegedly assaulting a teacher). Barbera has been a member of the staff at PS 261 since 1996.
