State Assembly Member Joan Millman has declared her opposition to the City Department of Education’s proposal to relocate a charter school, the Brooklyn East Collegiate School, to the building now occupied by both P.S. 9 and M.S. 571, at 80 Underhill Avenue. This would mean that three schools would occupy the building until M.S. 571 is phased out.
