LICH is open for Care… LICH has served the community for over 150 years. It is an Institution, our hospital. LICH is facing the threat of closure today. Our children are born here. The hospital has an outstanding neurosurgery unit, neonatal unit, psychiatric emergency care and psychiatric unit, dialysis center, medical/surgical units and more. I am one of the nurses that attended your meeting this week. A very spirited meeting. Your response was overwhelming. I want you to know that we received the same response this thursday when the community came together and played a role regarding the recent events . We heard from local families, community residents , our elected representatives, doctors, nurses and members of the staff. Please write: The Honorable Andrew M Cuomo Governor of New York State NYS Capital Bldg Albany, NY 12224 Please call: 1-(518)474-8390press (2) Please sign on-line petition at Change.org (search LICH closing). I leave you with an important message: LICH is open for Care
