If you’re already thinking about getting rid of your Christmas tree, be sure to hold off until the weekend of January 10 & 11, when there will be a Christmas Tree Recycling event held at Cobble Hill Park.
There will be a tree chipper to mulch discarded Christmas trees at Cobble Hill Park on Saturday and Sunday January 10 & 11 from 9:30 am to 2:00 pm. The public is welcome to take a bag of mulch away with them (bags will be provided). Wreaths and garlands cannot be accepted. Please remove all lights and decorations from your tree. This event is sponsored by Cobble Hill Tree Fund, the Cobble Hill Association, Friends of Cobble Hill Park and Boy Scout Troops 213 & 815 in conjunction with the Parks Department
