The telltale sign of trailers on Court and Wyckoff Streets let Cobble Hill residents know that something is up. After speaking with three different people associated with the trailers, I learned that they belonged to no other than hit television show Gossip Girl. Today, they’re filming on Clinton Street at the Clinton Cafe (just a few months ago they took over the Brooklyn Inn). I can almost hear the stampede of the Packer students right now…

This woman wasn't very pleased with my presence.
It didn’t take a genius or talking to the crew to learn what was being filmed. It clearly said “Gossip Girl” on the no parking signs posted on Court Street. And as a Packer alum, I resent the last statement, and hardly saw anyone making a deal about the fliming.
There were definitely gawkers last night.
Walking the dog after work, I saw a huddle of folks across the street from the Cafe that were still there 15min later when we walked back. Another girl was literally screaming into her cell phone about how it was the best day of her life because she got someone’s autograph.
Bah. When are they going to film something I’ve heard of?
