CHB reader “Randy” points us to this Craigslist tidbit:
Was walking to the subway in Cobble Hill and found this iPod. I would like to get it back to its rightful owner.
It was in some sort of crisis/recovery mode and was frozen. I plugged it into my iTunes to see if I could get any more info on it, but alas, the only thing I could do was recover the device (which, I gather means it was wiped). I’ll leave it at that so fakers don’t try to claim it. If you lost one in that ‘hood, let me know what area you were in, describe it, and we’ll chat.
Do you think it’s a scam or total Generation Juicebox earnestness?
