Bar Tabac Closed?

@fitbeth just tweeted this photo of Bar Tabac.  Is it closed for good?  Anyone have the scoop?

Update: Reader “Michael” who had the time to check the bar’s website points us to this revelation:

Bar Tabac will be closed for renovations from Monday August 23rd to Wednesday August 25th. See you on Thursday!

But is that the whole story?

    Word is they had no license for operating the outdoor seating, let alone operating a restaurant…. How stupid can they be?

    They appeared to be opened for business last weekend.
