First!
Anyone try the drinks at One Girl Cookies yet?
My wife and I tried the Sicilian Float – peach iced tea with a scoop of sorbet (we had blackberry). It was a refreshing break from the hot sandy Bastille Day streets, but without the carbonation, it was missing the essential foaminess of a good float. Maybe if we added champagne?
I think they do them with champagne as well. At least they were on Bastille Day. And I gotta say those red velvet whoopie pies looked positively delectable.
anyone else notice how disgusting cobble hill park gets, especially with those lazy saps who refuse to dispose of their cancer sticks properly? i seriously hope the mayor’s initiative to ban smoking in public parks goes into law. and how’s this for generating revenue? $25 fines to those who think its ok to just “flick” their butt. yeah, yeah, how do you enforce it? it’ll hurt those who can least afford it..blah blah blah. ugh. neanderthals.
@ Frank The Tank…I’m confused. You find smokers and their “butts” disgusting yet you seem sympathetic towards those who may be fined for littering if the proposed ban becomes a law???
