Fix the Ditch: BQE Enhancement Workshop Tonight

It’s time to confront the enormous Expressway that runs like a concrete river through our neighborhood. Tonight is the first in a series of workshops to build a dialogue between residents affected by the entrenched highway and the designers who will be working to transform this nabe-splitting byway. “Designers will solicit advice, input and local experience with this section of the BQE” in order to “improve the pedestrian environment between Atlantic and Hamilton Avenues.” Well, that would be lovely.

Download the informational flyer here.

Workshop Details:
Tuesday, May 4 from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Long Island College Hospital, Avram Conference Center
